my story
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, KN Kreative is a full-service design studio that specializes in weddings, events + branding. KN Kreative prides itself on being an award-winning business by being named the winner of The Knot’s Hall of Fame, The Knot's Best of Weddings, and Wedding Wire’s Couples’ Choice Awards.
Shortly after my college graduation, KN Kreative first began in 2013 as I explored every facet of design that the corporate world had to offer. Although it initially started as a side-hustle to provide design services for a few friends who were planning weddings and baby showers, I quickly fell in love with the process of bringing their vision to life on paper. It was then that I decided to trade in my title from freelancer to small business owner and KN Kreative was officially founded.
ABOUT THE OWNER

Hi there! I’m Kristin, Owner + Designer of KN Kreative. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, my design journey began over a decade ago when I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to obtain my Bachelor degrees in Advertising and Graphic Design. Since then, I have gained invaluable experience as a designer through corporate positions, freelance opportunities and entrepreneurship in several different facets of design, including print design, textile design, digital marketing and event production.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, traveling to the beach, cheering on Husker football, and sipping on iced coffee while reading the latest best-selling novel.

I’ve always believed in a good love story — I met my high school sweetheart, Andy,
when I was 15, and we’ve been married for over 10 years.
When I'm not playing with paper,
I enjoy a different kind of design: interior design! We built our house in 2020 and have been slowly making it a home, one project at a time.
I’m a mom-preneur, so my days
are spent navigating the
stationery world while playing
trucks with my toddler son.
