my story
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, KN Kreative is a full-service design studio that specializes in weddings, events + branding. KN Kreative prides itself on being an award-winning business by being named the winner of The Knot’s Hall of Fame, The Knot's Best of Weddings, and Wedding Wire’s Couples’ Choice Awards.

Shortly after my college graduation, KN Kreative first began in 2013 as I explored every facet of design that the corporate world had to offer. Although it initially started as a side-hustle to provide design services for a few friends who were planning weddings and baby showers, I quickly fell in love with the process of bringing their vision to life on paper. It was then that I decided to trade in my title from freelancer to small business owner and KN Kreative was officially founded.
ABOUT THE OWNER

Hi there! I’m Kristin, Owner + Designer of KN Kreative. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, my design journey began over a decade ago when I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to obtain my Bachelor degrees in Advertising and Graphic Design. Since then, I have gained invaluable experience as a designer through corporate positions, freelance opportunities and entrepreneurship in several different facets of design, including print design, textile design, digital marketing and event production.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, traveling to the beach, cheering on Husker football, and reading the latest best-selling novel while sipping on iced coffee.

I've been married to my husband, Andy, for over 10 years, although we have been together for over
20 years since we began dating
in high school.
KN Kreative has been in business for over 10 years, won 10 awards, and has received 80+ five-star reviews on The Knot and Wedding Wire.
My fur-assistant is a 12-year-old Schnoodle named Ellie. You can often find her behind-the-scenes on my Instagram or napping in the sun.
