As a Design Assistant and later a Graphic Artist at One Grace Place, I was given the opportunity to design promotional material, develop our textile lines, and photograph our products on a regular basis. This position allowed me to excel at a wide range of tasks, including photographing and styling product shoots, photo editing of product shots, designing marketing materials, textile design for new product lines, and event planning for trade shoes. 

Working in a team environment, I worked closely with our Marketing team to create campaigns to promote our textile brand of infant and youth bedding and accessories. Throughout the year, we worked on several seasonal campaigns targeted towards children, such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and the ABC Trade Show in Las Vegas. In each campaign, I was responsibile for the design and production of marketing materials to promote our products through our social media pages, email blasts and website. In addition, printed materials such as postcards, catalogs, flyers, and print advertisements were created to showcase our newest collection lines. 

Along with my design responsibilities, I was also involved in developing our textile brand and its promotion. During my time at One Grace Place, I was able to create the infant and youth bedding collection for "Retro Robots." A combination of blues and grays make up the fun fabrics centered around the robotic theme, including a circuit board, gray gears, and three little robot friends. Pictured are the rug, stuffed pillows, pillow sham, pillowcase and mobile featured in the collection among other bedding set pieces. Developing our textile division also included styling photoshoots for each collection, editing photos for each product, and even practicing my photography skills by capturing some of our accessory pieces and kid-themed shoots to use for our catalog and other promotional material, such as being featured on zulily.com. 

This position taught me to master the challenge of creating appealing, fresh content for these platforms, while also maintaining our brand and image with our retailers and consumers.
